Cocoa powder is packed with Magnesium, Iron, Calcium, Vitamin E and K, plus many of the B Vitamins. Whilst Buttermilk adds nourishment and hydration.
So why use a powder instead of a pre-made mask?
Readymade masks that contain water need preservatives to stop bacteria growth.
With our mask, you have the option of adding the liquid of your choice. My favourites are water, a floral hydrosol, natural yoghurt or coconut milk. Mix and match using up ingredients you have to hand.
Instructions:
Mix around 5g of the dry ingredients with a small amount of your chosen liquid to form a paste.
Apply with soft-bristle brush to your face and leave for 10-15 minutes.
When dry rinse off using a circular motion with your hands or flannel for extra exfoliation.
Now pat your face dry. Your face is now ready for a moisturiser of your choice
Dispose of any unused paste as it can only be used when freshly made.
