Green clay, Aloe Vera powder & Cucumber powder Mask I Sensitive Skin I Natural Ingredients
Together, these ingredients make an excellent face mask combination for all skin types, but especially for those with sensitive or dry skin. The green clay also known as French Clay helps to cleanse and detoxify the skin while the Aloe Vera powder and Cucumber powder work to soothe and hydrate. This can result in a brighter, smoother, and more youthful-looking complexion.
Clay masks are a traditional way of gently exfoliating and cleansing the skin. They help to remove toxins and dead skin cells, absorb excess oil or nourish dry skin and they improve circulation.
They can be used regularly on their own, as part of a cleansing routine or with other products to create a natural home spa experience.
This product contains 50g of clay and botanicals in a compostable bag within a natural burlap bag. Enough to make 6 to 8 masks.
There is also the option to add accessories to enhance your spa experience such as a paste brush and/or a spa headband.
Why use a powder as opposed to a premade mask? We prefer powders for two reasons. Firstly, readymade masks containing any water or water based product will need to have a preservative added to stop bacteria growing. Without such a preservative the product would be dangerous and not meet Cosmetic Products Safety Regulations. We prefer to avoid the use of preservatives where we can keep our products as natural as possible.
Secondly, using powder leaves you with the option of adding the liquid of your choice - this could be water, a floral hydrosol, milk such as coconut depending or natural yogurt.
To create a mask mix approximately 5g of the dry ingredients with a small amount of liquid to form a paste. Leave on for 10-15 mins then rinse off using a circular motion with hands or a flannel to promote exfoliation and pat your face dry.
Dispose of any unused paste as this will no longer be suitable for storage.
